In NSW, ordinary licensed electricians can't work on the connection between the electricity network and your home. That work, including service lines, points of attachment, connections, disconnections and metering, has to be done by an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) Level 2.
See all our Level 2 electrical services. Electricians needing a Level 2 subcontractor can see Level 2 for electricians.
Only if they also hold Level 2 accreditation. Many electricians subcontract Level 2 work to an ASP.
Ask for their ASP accreditation details. The NSW Government maintains the accreditation scheme, and you can ask the network to confirm.
