Overview
Underground supply removes the overhead wire across your yard, frees up space for second storeys and trees, and is often required for new builds and subdivisions.
We design the route, dig, lay conduit, pull the cable and make the connection, then energise the new service and remove the old overhead line.
What's involved
An underground service runs from the network's pit, pillar or pole in the street to the connection point on your property, through conduit laid in a trench. Installing, upgrading or energising it is Class 2B Level 2 work. Trench depth, conduit type and the cable route are all set by the Service and Installation Rules of NSW.
