Overview

Before a house is demolished, renovated or has its switchboard replaced, the supply from the network has to be safely disconnected. Only an accredited Level 2 electrician can do it, and only a Level 2 can reconnect it afterwards.

We handle disconnections and reconnections for homeowners, builders and demolition contractors across Sydney, timed to your schedule.

Temporary or permanent

A temporary disconnection isolates the property from the network while work is done, then restores supply when it's safe. A permanent disconnection, usually for a demolition, removes the service so the site is safe for the builder. Both are Class 2A Level 2 work.

Planning a demolition

Demolition contractors won't start until the power is confirmed off and the service removed. We schedule the disconnection around your demolition date, notify the network, and can install a temporary builders supply so the site still has power.

Getting reconnected

Reconnection is the same accreditation in reverse. We test the installation, re-energise and notify the network, so you're not waiting on anyone else.
