Overview

Adding a second storey, extending the house or building a carport can put your overhead service line in the way or too close to the new roof.

We raise or relocate the service line and point of attachment so it meets network clearance rules and fits your new layout.

When a line needs to move

Overhead service lines have minimum clearances over roofs, driveways, pools and walkways. Extensions and new structures often break those clearances, or put the point of attachment in the wrong place.

Raising or relocating

We can fit a raised bracket or service mast to lift the line, move the point of attachment to a new wall, or relocate the line and meter box together. In some cases converting to underground is the better option, and we'll tell you if so.

Working with your builder

Relocations usually need a temporary disconnection and should be timed with the build. We coordinate directly with your builder.
